Note from Radio Regulations, edition of 1968, p. 638: "This Appendix is published as a separate booklet. It contains provisions relating exclusively to the Aeronautical Mobile (R) Service, which on 17 September 1970 will have completely replaced the provisions related to this service that are contained in Appendix 26 (see IFRB Circular Letter No. 176, dated 10 August 1967). Accordingly, after this date reference should be made exclusively to Appendix 27 as far as the Aeronautical Mobile (R) Service is concerned."
