The 16th Plenipotentiary Conference of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) was held at the Palais des Congres in Marrakech, Morocco from Sep 23 to Oct 18, 2002. More than 1700 top-ranking delegates from all regions of the world attended, including several who represented the interests of the Amateur Radio and Amateur Satellite Services.
