Summary
Based on simulation of an SPS business case (described in the appendix), the requirements and options for international cooperation in the development and operation of solar power satellites (SPS) and power receiving plants on the ground (rectennas) are discussed. Industrial matters and financial aspects are included. Four specific near-term actions are suggested that fit within the responsibilities of international organisations such as the World Bank and EIB, IEA, ITU, WHO and UNCOPUOS.
